Ladies Night (Thursday Night) Volleyball Rules
(Below is a strawman addendum to existing Laguna Woods/USVA volleyball rules - to try out for a few weeks starting 3/13/2025)
• The net height will be set to 7'2" (2.19m) (i.e. standard net height for women over 45+, to be marked on pole with W) • Men are encouraged to participate and augment the women's group but are not allowed to spike in front of the 10' line or block.
• If more than 12 women show up to play, any men should recuse themselves from playing (i.e., not play)
• A majority of the women playing on any ladies' night have the right to ask any male player to leave the court. This could be for bad sportsmanship, for disregarding the ladies' night rules, for reckless play, or for lowering the quality of the game.
